Chongqing - Recently, the National Geographic documentary Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey – The Unknown World, was released on the Chinese video platform Bilibili, where it has been played over ten million times.
As the name suggests, the journey through universal space-time will show you the key time stages of the universe, from the Big Bang, the formation of the Milky Way and solar system, to when man first set foot on the moon.
In order to have more audience experience the power of the universe for themselves, the National Geographic organized the Cosmos exhibition with lectures and Mars-themed pavilions on August 15 and 16 in Chongqing. It chose one of the best locations in Chongqing which goes perfect with the exhibition - the 47th floor exploration deck of Raffles City Chongqing, where the visitors could immerse in the universe stories and had a bird view of the city from over 250 meters up high viewing gallery.

This is a promotional event of National Geographic’s tentpole documentary COSMOS sponsored by Rafflescity, with the support of media outlet Chongqing International Communication Centre for Culture and Tourism (iChongqing). iChongqing also invited 20 readers during the weekend to become interstellar travelers on a journey through universal space-time.
The Mars themed pavilions displayed knowledge and wonderful footage about different stages of Mars including Warming, Water Cycle, Survival and Living on Mars . Lectures given by experts from National Geographic took the audience to embark on the journey through the formation of the universe as well as touched upon the legendary stories about Curiosity Mars Rover and Cassini Spacecraft.
