On September 23, AT&S Chongqing holds an opening ceremony for its first Employee Continuing Educational Program in Liangjiang New Area, which was jointly launched by Chongqing University of Arts & Sciences(CUAS) and Chongqing Information Technology College(CQITC).

One hundred sixty-eight employees are enrolled in this program, including 90 for university degree courses majoring in Computer Science and Technology and 78 for college diploma courses majoring in Software Technology.
Employees enrolled are expected to complete all courses in the next two and a half years, and certificates will be granted to those who pass the examinations.

He said that smart manufacturing frees people from repetitive work while places higher demands on their skillsets. The company invests in high-quality talents via continuing educational opportunities and international experiences, aiming to widen their career pathways, further boost the development of the intelligent manufacturing and semiconductor industry in Chongqing, and make new contributions to Chongqing's economic growth.
Bai Chengliang, the vice dean of School of Continuing Education of CUAS and Yang Jiqiong and vice dean of CQITC, attended the event, according to whom long-term and in-depth cooperation with AT&S is expected to achieve a win-win situation by promoting an innovative education and training system and cultivating high-quality talents for enterprises.
The company has been supporting large-scale employees education in Shanghai since 2014. It continues the project in Liangjiang New Area, Chongqing, whose business expands this year, to support local industry upgrades and smart manufacturing development.
The opening ceremony was attended by the company management team, officials from Liangjiang New Area, Yufu Industrial Park, Jiangbei District Human Resources, and Social Security Bureau.
