Chongqing - The China-Singapore (Chongqing) Cross-border E-commerce (CBEC) Industrial Park will cultivate several emerging cross-border e-commerce enterprises to boost regional economic transformation and innovate development, said Liao Honghai, president of Alliance Investment Management.
Relying on the China-Singapore (Chongqing) Demonstration Initiative on Strategic Connectivity (CCI) and the New International Land-sea Trade Corridor (ILSTC), the industrial park will provide enterprises with a favorable business environment and services.
On March 21, the Amazon Cross-border E-commerce High-quality Development Forum was held in Southwest China's Chongqing, where the guests shared global cross-border trends and analyzed Chongqing's industry and brands.

Cross-border e-commerce is a new form of foreign trade with the fastest development, greatest potential, and strongest driving effect.
"Its online transactions, non-contact delivery, and short transaction chains play unique advantages in foreign trade growth," said Gu Hua, an official of the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Commerce.
Relying on the strengths in location, channel, logistics, industry, talents, and carriers, Chongqing will expand the cross-border e-commerce team, promote product structure innovation, and optimize the business environment, to help Chongqing local products go overseas.
As a key project of the dual hub of China and Singapore, the China-Singapore (Chongqing) Cross-border E-commerce Industrial Park will form a complete e-commerce supply chain system of ILSTC, said Wang Qiang, an official of the China-Singapore (Chongqing) Demonstration Initiative on Strategic Connectivity Administrative Bureau (CCIB).
Focusing on this four billion-level cross-border industrial cluster, including trade, automobile, motorcycle electromechanical, new and used cars, and special agricultural products, the industrial park will officially open on July 1, becoming a cross-border e-commerce demonstration base with elements gathering, complete services, and concentrated enterprises.

Amazon's team will design customized overseas services for characteristics industries and well-known companies in Chongqing and its districts and counties, offering one-on-one services such as official training, product selection, operational support, and brand building.
As the world's largest retailer, Amazon thinks highly of cross-border and foreign trade with policy support. The company also provides diagnosis services and support for hundreds of firms in Chongqing, covering over 20,000 people through large brand activities.
"Chongqing's edges in talents and manufacturing will empower the cross-border e-commerce development," said an Amazon representative. "We will continue to provide sellers services combined with their needs and launch some training programs relying on the industrial park."
