Chongqing Offers an Array of Thrilling Activities During Nightlife Festival

Chongqing - As midsummer descends, Chongqing, the city that never sleeps, ignites its "Nightlife Festival" across numerous districts. The festival aims to stimulate late-night spending and offer an array of thrilling activities for both residents and visitors to enjoy during the height of summer.

Promising a slew of entertainment from cultural exhibitions and shopping sprees to interactive role-playing parties and music-filled events, Chongqing's Nightlife Festival ensures ceaseless merriment throughout the warm nights of midsummer.

Jiulongpo District

Round-the-World Trip on Tongue

The 2023 Chongqing International Beer Culture Festival kicked off in Baguocheng, Jiulong District, on July 8. The event will last until July 31.

Visitors can embark on a gastronomic journey around the world at Chaoshang Jiulong market, a sprawling hub spanning over ten thousand square meters. This market is a fusion of traditional Chinese aesthetics, contemporary trends, and international influences. Guests can sample various beers from an assortment of brands, including local Chongqing Tuborg, France's Kronenbourg1664, and Germany's Paulaner.

Nan'an District

Shop in the Night Market, Enjoy the Tasty Food

The 2023 Midsummer Shopping Festival also serves as Nanbin Road Nightlife Festival, which began several days ago and will continue till July 31. This vibrant event offers visitors various products, including beer, toys, cultural innovations, and gourmet delights.

The event boasted over 80 popular stands featuring renowned vendors such as Little Zhang's Stand and Spicy Beef, drawing numerous visitors. Additionally, leading beer companies, including Chongqing Beer and Wushan Craft Beer, established a spacious square of nearly 500 square meters, enticing visitors to enjoy a beer and experience a sense of satisfaction.

A variety of shopping events are scheduled to take place in commercial complexes and unique neighborhoods throughout the festival. For instance, Changjiahui Shopping Park is set to launch a shopping festival dubbed "Summer at Riverside," while Longmenhao Old Street plans to host an event named "Young Culture Session." These activities allow local residents to discover and embrace their ideal lifestyle within the vibrant city of Chongqing.

Yuzhong District

Over 50 Theme Activities

From July 12 to July 16, Yuzhong District invited about 40 companies, like Taobao and Chongqing Bank of Construction Life, to create a theme experience area titled "Fashion of Yuzhong" and "Sleepless Wonderland" in Jiefangbei. Besides, visitors could embark on a wonderful art journey as renowned artists showcased their captivating works through an exquisite art exhibition.

In addition, Yuzhong District has collaborated with various business complexes, distinctive commercial neighborhoods, cultural hubs, and tourism clusters to unveil a remarkable array of over 50 special theme activities, focusing on nighttime activities like culinary delights, appreciation, recreation, shopping, and fitness.

Hechuan District

Enjoy the Feast of Gourmet and Music

On July 8, the 2023 Hot Pot Ingredients Expo, serving as Hechuan Huatan Music Beer Festival, kicked off at Century Joy City in Huatan International New Town, Hechuan District.

The festival combined trendy elements, including music, beer, hot pot, and market, and built scenes for visitors to experience the hot pot Expo, Huatan Music Beer Festival, and Xiaoma Market, which lasts from July 8 to July 15.

The expo presented 15 booths in the Hot Pot Taste Area, with visitors picking out the most popular hot pot. Eighty-seven sales and exhibition booths provided visitors with local dishes and snacks. Participants were treated to the melodic performances of renowned bands such as Jiajian Band and Guoran Band, allowing them to immerse themselves in a harmonious blend of music and culinary experiences.

Beibei District

Gourmet, Beer, Art

On July 8, the 2023 Sleepless Beibei Lifestyle Festival, also known as Chaoyang Street Chongqing Beer Festival and a Two Cities Art Season component, kicked off in Beibei District.

The organizer invited 24 restaurants within Chaoyang Street to participate in the activity, which will run until July 16. The restaurants provided each adult consumer with three bottles of Chongqing Beer for free as long as they ordered dishes there.

The host offered a series of fantastic activities in diverse forms to celebrate Neighborhood Art Season. For instance, art exhibitions displayed works from local and overseas artists. Art workshops and lectures allowed residents to exchange and learn from the artists.

Nanchuan District

Listen to Pop Music, Appreciate Natural Sceneries

The 2023 Jinfo Mountain Riverside Camp Music Season started on July 8, where visitors could listen to pop music, appreciate natural sceneries, and enjoy delicious snacks.

The music season marking summer travel in Nanchuan District consisted of music season, water activities, camp, and summer resort. Tourists could embark on a journey and escape the heat by joining diverse summer activities, camping under a starry sky, drifting along the river, exploring the water park, and tasting various food.

Fuling District

Electric Music Festival, Enjoy Music, Fireworks, and Disco

On the evening of July 7, the parallel session of the 2023 Sleepless Chongqing Life Festival themed on Night Economy kicked off in Mexin Wine Town at Fuling District.

During the event, visitors could idle in Star Market and participate in theme summer travel activities related to the electric music festival, like Water Music Festival, Fun Beer Festival, and water carnival designed to satisfy different needs.

Notably, before July 15, junior and senior high graduates of the 2023 class can enter Mexin Water Park for free.

Jiangjin District

Night Carnival, Fun Leisure Time

Jiangjin District will host the 2023 Sleepless Jiangjin Fun Life Festival centering on "Night Carnival, Fun Leisure Time," presenting various interesting consuming activities at night. Thanks to the resource advantages of China (Chongqing) ASEAN Commodity Distribution Center in Western China, including goods, seafood products, and agricultural by-products, a distinctive wave of nighttime consumption and trading has emerged in Jiangjin District, promoting the upgrading of the nighttime economy.
