Chongqing - Seres, a prominent automaker in Chongqing Liangjiang New Area, has recently expanded its cooperative circles with the industry giants Huawei and Bosch, further bolstering its prowess in the automotive field.
Based on their close collaboration, Seres recently launched the new AITO M7 series with Huawei. This launch expands the AITO product lineup to a total of six models, following a substantial 500 million yuan (about 68 million U.S. dollars) investment, which has led to remarkable advancements in intelligence and safety.

The new AITO M7 comes equipped with Huawei's ADS 2.0 advanced intelligent driving system, which stands out for not relying on high-definition maps for high-level intelligent driving in both highway and urban settings.
Behind the exceptional, intelligent driving experience, the AITO M7 lies a sophisticated array of sensors. Combined with a high-performance computing platform and Huawei's proprietary human-like algorithms, the vehicle reaches all-weather and all-scenario perception of static and dynamic objects, including irregular shapes.
The AITO M7 also features the Huawei DriveONE extended-range electric drive platform. The four-wheel-drive version accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 4.8 seconds. Under full gasoline and electric power, the AITO M7 offers a comprehensive range of 1,300 kilometers, with a pure electric range of 240 kilometers.
The collaboration between Seres and Huawei, which began in 2021 with their "Smart Selection Car" initiative, represents a pioneering partnership between an EV manufacturer and an ICT technology giant.
Seres focuses on vehicle development, intelligent manufacturing, service, and creating an enjoyable ownership experience in this unique model. On the other hand, Huawei serves as a critical software product integrator within Seres' automotive ecosystem, providing support through electrification, intelligent hardware, and software technologies.
According to data released by Seres Group, their cumulative investment in AITO core research and development has exceeded 12 billion yuan (about 1.6 billion U.S. dollars), with over 3,400 patents granted.
In another significant development, Seres has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Bosch China, a global leader in technology and services.
This partnership encompasses areas such as vehicle safety systems, driver assistance, automation, powertrain, and electrification solutions, as well as the application of new material and component supply.

Under this agreement, Seres will work with Bosch in various fields, including vehicle safety systems, driver assistance, automation, powertrain, electrification solutions, and automotive aftermarket technology and services.
Bosch China, in turn, commits to a long-term strategic partnership with Seres, providing robust engineering and aftermarket services, competitive pricing for products, and supporting comprehensive business collaboration, ultimately co-creating premium intelligent EVs for customers.
"Seres and Bosch China will continue to strengthen our cooperation in the new field of high-end EVs, constructing an interconnected automotive ecosystem and collectively promoting the growth of the new energy vehicle industry. It's a win-win partnership," said Zhang Xinghai, Chairman of Seres.
Additionally, Bosch China will establish a dedicated collaborative team with Seres to bolster innovation and technological empowerment, leveraging their respective strengths and jointly expanding into international markets.
