Action-Packed Stadium in Chongqing: Excitement Abounds at the Sports and Tourism Integration Exhibition

Chongqing - From November 16 to 19, the Chongqing Datianwan Fitness Center and Datianwan Stadium served as key venues for the 2023 Chengdu-Chongqing Sports Industry Alliance and the 7th Chongqing Sports Tourism Industry Development Conference, buzzed with activities. These activities drew numerous visitors with attractions like the Chengdu-Chongqing Sports Tourism Exhibition and an invitational game. 

Additionally, notable events such as the launching ceremony of "National Sport Shines Yuzhong District" and the Datianwan Leisure Market were also held here, adding to the vibrant atmosphere.

The exhibition, showcasing scientific and technological advancements in sports and tourism, offered citizens and tourists an array of fascinating experiences, blending sports, tourism, and education. 

Spanning approximately 1,000 square meters, it was divided into three distinct zones: the Digital Sports Products Exhibition, the Integrated Sports and Tourism Industry Exhibition, and the Sports Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition. Nearly 30 companies from Sichuan and Chongqing participated, drawing attention to the significant strides Chongqing has made in digital sports development. These interactive exhibits provided a unique and engaging window into the world of sports and technology, enriching attendees' experiences.

This conference was a hub for discussions and exhibitions and a stage for thrilling sporting events. Datianwan Stadium hosted three dynamic competitions: the Frisbee Invitational Tournament, the Baseball Invitational Tournament, and the Women's Football Exhibition Tournament, each event adding an element of excitement to the proceedings. 

Moreover, the afternoon of November 16 at Datianwan Stadium saw a special highlight: the "National Sport Shines Yuzhong District" launch ceremony. This event was graced by the presence of Table Tennis Paralympic champion Liao Keli and World Table Tennis Championship champion Wang Yuegu, who promoted scientific fitness to both participants and local citizens. Following the ceremony, attendees were treated to an array of spectacular performances, including street dance, martial arts, and taekwondo, all organized on-site, adding to the vibrancy of the conference.

Of particular note, the Datianwan Leisure Market was established at the event site to enhance the experience of citizens and tourists. This market offered diverse services, including sports, tourism, cultural and creative merchandise, and a selection of fast food and soft drinks. This addition to the event not only catered to the immediate needs of attendees but also added a vibrant, communal atmosphere to the entire experience.
