In March, AITO's deliveries soared by 50.07% compared to the previous month, with the AITO M7 model contributing 24,598 units. Since its launch in September last year, the AITO M7 has been highly sought-after, becoming the-selling model. The AITO M9, introduced for delivery in late February, also saw strong sales, with 6,243 units delivered.
In the first quarter of the year, AITO delivered 32,973 units in January and 21,142 units in February, totaling 85,842 units delivered in 2024 so far.
The AITO brand was jointly established by Huawei and Seres, a Chongqing-based automaker, in December 2021. The current lineup includes the M5, M7, and M9 models. AITO offers both range extender hybrid and pure electric versions, with the range extender hybrid proving to be the most popular among buyers.
The term "new force" in the automotive industry denotes newly established car manufacturers, typically excluding new energy vehicle brands under large traditional carmakers. Despite the highest new energy vehicle sales, BYD is not listed among the "new force" automotive sales.
The "new force"automotive brands include NIO, XPeng, Li Auto, and Leapmotor, all of which have mass-produced models and maintain stable monthly deliveries. Among them, NIO, XPeng, and Li Auto are listed on the US and Hong Kong stock markets. Leapmotor and WM Motor have filed listing prospectuses on the Hong Kong stock market.
These manufacturers release their previous month's sales data on the 1st of each month, with industry organizations and media compiling sales lists to track market trends.
