Chongqing -The Belt and Road Initiative and China's modernization efforts are driving the development of an open global economy. However, some international media have misinterpreted or distorted these efforts, leading to incomplete narratives that often overlook China's significant contributions in areas such as poverty alleviation, technological advancement, and support for developing nations.
Recently, nearly 100 media executives and representatives from over 50 Belt and Road countries and regions visited Chongqing to experience the city's distinctive appeal and observe the progress of China's modernization firsthand.
The 2024 Belt and Road Journalists Forum, themed "Expanding the Path of Opportunities, Sharing a Bright Future," was held in Chongqing, focusing on deepening cooperation among members of the Belt and Road Journalists Network.
The event aimed to foster mutual understanding and strengthen people-to-people connections, laying the foundation for enhanced collaboration.
