Chongqing - On December 11, Chongqing Airlines announced the resumption of three international routes in January 2025, offering travelers more options for cross-border travel. The airline will restart operations connecting Chongqing with Colombo, Male, Phuket, and Ho Chi Minh City.
The Chongqing to Colombo to Male route will officially resume on January 8, 2025, operating three times per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The Chongqing to Phuket route will restart on January 18, 2025, with four weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The Chongqing to Ho Chi Minh City route will resume on January 21, 2025, with flights scheduled for Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Reintroducing these routes is expected to enhance connectivity and facilitate the flow of tourism and business passengers, strengthening Chongqing's role as an international transportation hub.
