The team will provide expert advice to support economic openness decisions, create a coordination mechanism for international cooperation, strengthen the link between legal services and economic development, and promote legal services to market entities.
Zheng Wenwen, a member of the team and a practitioner at Tahota Law Firm, said foreign-related legal services extend beyond mere legal interpretation and application.
They facilitate cross-cultural communication and support the international development of enterprises. The team will strengthen collaboration with domestic and international legal professionals, integrate resources, and deliver holistic legal services to businesses.
Luo Lun, Vice-Director of the Chongqing Liangjiang New Area Administrative Committee, highlighted the increasing frequency of foreign economic activities in Liangjiang in recent years.
Establishing the foreign-related legal services team aims to provide comprehensive legal support for local enterprises venturing into global markets and assist foreign-funded companies in understanding local policies and regulations, thereby supporting their growth and establishment in Liangjiang.
