Vibrant dances ignited the festive atmosphere as foreign performers dazzled with Dai ethnic music and clowns entertained with playful antics, sparking waves of cheers and laughter.
The highlight came as visitors armed with water guns and buckets joined spirited water fights led by park performers. Their laughter and splashes blending with thumping beats in a perfect summer crescendo.
Families flocked to specially designed play zones, where children enjoyed safe water play areas under their parents’ watch.
As night fell, the 7,700-square-meter Tsunami Baybecame a glittering open-air stage. A rap artist took the spotlight, igniting a roaring sing-along before the climactic fireworks display.
Golden fireworks erupted across the night sky, synchronized with pulsating lights and music for a breathtaking finale.
Beyond entertainment, the park is poised to boost regional tourism and economic growth. With an estimated annual attendance of 400,000 visitors, it’s expected to generate over 100 million yuan ($13.8 million)in local spending.
In a strategic move, the park partners withthe Western China (Chongqing) E-sports Industry Park to create a unique "tourism+e-sports" experience. It also links regional attractions like Dazu Rock Carvings, boosting western Chongqing's tourism network.
Technology-driven enhancements include AR and holographic displays supported by Yuquan Lake Digital Economy Park, paired with a comprehensive safety system.
By blending water adventures, music, and fireworks, Mengijie Waterworld has carved its niche as Chongqing’s newest summer hotspot—a place where joy makes waves.
